First time here but wanted to try the steamed buns for a while now. I started with the Vegan Fried Rice and got the Peking Duck Steamed Buns to go. Service was super fast. My food was hot, fresh, and very tasty! Definitely will be back

Very very authentic Chinese food. It’s rare to find a place that uses quality ingredients with good portion sizes. This has replaced the need to go to Maryland for authentic Chinese food, will definitely return.

I love Asian food and this place had some pretty good reviews. I have a friend who likes vegan dishes and they have plenty of options for them to choose. I went with their version of Kung Pao chicken and it really was one of the best I’ve ever had. The only criticism was that I wish that had come with more sauce. It was delicious and spicy and tasty but no sauce whatsoever. And for some reason it annoys me that you have to ask for rice and that they charge you for it. I always feel like that should be part of the meal. Maybe that’s just me. I would go back and try some other items. This was quality Chinese food. Some of the best take out I’ve had from any kind of Asian place.
t’s difficult to find authentic Chinese food in Alexandria. Normally, I would have to drive further west on 95 to Falls Church. That’s why I was delighted to stumble on KungFu Kitchen.
The mini cucumber salad came out first. It came with garlic, vinegar and sesame oil, and was the perfect start to a succulent meal.
Next came the heralded Pork Xiao Long. The soup was hot and flavorful and the challenging trick was to slurp up the soup without wasting a single drop.
The main dish was the steamed chicken in hot oil sauce. Classified as a cold dish in Sichuan cuisine, the cold chicken was enriched with multiple seasoning. The sauce was so sweet and delicious, it mixed well with simmering-hot Jasmine rice.
Teang and the chefs at KungFu Kitchen did an AMAZING job with the food and service. All Delicious and Authentic, a big rarity for this neck of the woods.
