I’m a big fan of Dogfish Head, just have never visited their alehouse.
So when I walked in to their Seven Corners spot to find a place to watch Game 1 of the Hawks Bucks Eastern Conference Finals, I asked the bartender to change the channel to the game.
“Hmm, you look familiar?” I asked, but I didn’t want to feel like I was been overly forward.
She first looked at me like I was mistaken.
“Did you used to work near DC?”
“Well, I used to work for Four Sisters in Clarendon.”
Bingo, now I remember her. Alba, we photographed their Grand Opening and helped them on their website.
“So what would you like to drink?”
“Can’t decide between a 60 minute or a 90 minute IPA.”
“Well try the Alehouse 75 which is a blend,”
Alba was right – the Alehouse 75 was a perfect hit – not too weak, not too strong – just a right mix.
“Amazing service and staff Food needs so flavor!”
“Nice atmosphere, quick service, really good food, my go to place for seafood.”
“Went here for happy hour after work and enjoyed the wide selection of beers.”
